My husband and I had couples’ session at the beach with Kayla. She let us just do our own thing but also had directions if we didn’t know what to do. It was a very zen and chill experience just being together and enjoying the beach and we got lucky with an amazing sunset! Kayla Cooley photography is based in Newport, Oregon, to provide a warm, welcoming experience to capture your fondest memories and most cherished moments. We are excited to collaborate on projects from senior pictures to art shoots, to family photography. All kinds of love and abilities are welcomed and celebrated with us.
We want to take the pressure off photoshoots and avoid stiff, awkward, and overly structured posing. We may provide some fun prompts and ideas for capturing your special moments, but we wish to photograph your natural beauty and show your personality. We prioritize your comfort and confidence.
I am new to the area, so a unique element of my practice is that I am currently booking by donation as I grow my portfolio and establish my practice in Newport. I charge a $25 booking fee, and beyond this, you can determine what price is doable for you. This is a great deal because many photographers charge $150+ for a 30-minute session. I can accept payment by cash, check, Zelle, or Venmo.
Another noteworthy aspect of my sessions is that your payment includes your photo shoot AND the stunning edited digital files from our session. This allows you to print on your own, post to your social media, or order your images online to create canvases, prints, mugs, etc., that can be shipped directly to your home. I love the freedom this can give you to get precisely what products you would like without paying any hidden fees from me for access to the photos.
